I also deal with adjustment problems and stress due to Covid, the work environment and losses through death and divorce. Problems relating to self-image and inadequate performance are also covered.

Books & Publications | Boekbydraes en Publikasies
I have contributed to a variety of self-help publications by LAPA publishers, such as “Moeilike Mense”, “Die Groot Huweliksboek”, “Die Bybel en my gemoed” and in two parts on “Trauma”.
In addition to my contributions, I have also contributed towards two academic publications, called “An Introduction to Forensic Psychology” and “First African Congress in Clinical Hypnosis”
“Die Bybel en my gemoed” can be called a first in South Africa, and probably also in the world, without fear of adversity. The concept was developed in South Africa and is completely unique: a remarkable synergy between theology and scriptural behavioral knowledge and principles. Some of the best theologians and the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable behavioral scientists in the country have been involved in this breakthrough work. The questions they answer in this title about the believer as a man of understanding, a man of feeling and a unique person with a will and an inside of his own could in no way be handled by less knowledgeable and less daring theologians and psychologists.
In difficult people, you meet forty-one types of people whose behavior makes life difficult for you – from the seemingly harmless Closed Gawie (with the emphasis on seemingly) to the clutter whose accumulated rubbish begins to suffocate you. Maybe you recognize yourself as Martie Martelgat, as Annatjie who lives so shyly, or as a death talker and poor listener. The title was written by a team of behavioral scientists, and is one of the most informative and understandable books on human relationships, problem behaviors, and recovery you will ever read.
Twenty-five behavioral scientists (some also theologians), two medical doctors, a jurist and an honest young couple who have been married for seven years and face particular challenges, have collaborated on this title for: Seriously in Love, Engaged and Married Couples ; honeymooners, newlyweds and long-married; young parents, middle-aged and single people considering a second marriage.
Springs, 1977. Robert and Jeanne Smit are brutally killed in what the TRC would later describe as a politically motivated assassination. Decades later, it was buzzing about who exactly was responsible for the crime. There are smokescreens and denials, obscurities and deceptions, and speculations and theories about exactly who gave the initial order.
And somewhere in the political cooking pot, stories of a brave thirteen-year-old daughter Liza Smit simmer. After her parents were ripped out of her life, nothing would ever be the same again. When she heard that the TRC wanted to unravel the case, she and the investigative journalist Alet van Rensburg began investigating the case. Together, the two, with enormous perseverance, determination and a dose of domastrancy, dare the task: to uncover the truth about the death of Liza’s parents.
Liza’s story is interspersed with excerpts from the original account she gave to the ugly underworld of the then South Africa full of corrupt politicians, task forces and international intrigue. It’s also the story of a life set against this backdrop, and how one impressive woman straightens herself out of her personal hell.
The themes articulated in these books are extremely relevant and relevant in today’s society. The approach from various angles and perspectives underlines the complex nature of trauma and confirms that man is totally affected by it. There is a great need for information and guidelines on trauma management in general.
